For your creating pleasure, select from one of our design categories, Showcase designs or Ala Carte designs. In either case, words and size will be your preference. When you are ready to order, click the appropriate block on the order form to designate your selection.

Showcase designs are inclusive of color and effects . Ala Carte designs offer many effect and color selections You may combine as many effects and colors as you wish.

Below is a representation of the colors and effects, and will not match exactly the fabrics shown. The colors you choose will blend with each other. Occasional vein lines and some imperfections are part of the nature of the art. Solid colors will have variations of shade and vein lines. The number of colors you choose will not be applied in equal surface area. All lettering on your custom selections will be white or off white, unless stated otherwise as available in a Showcase design. Our Showcase designs may rotate seasonally.

Floral boarder	Floral Boarder	Festive
Floral boarder offers a choice of leaves and/or flower buds. The number of design elements will be proportional to the silk size and hand trimmed with a meandering boarder line arched at the top. The exterior boarder is a minimum of 1/2"; individual interior floral elements reaches lengths to 1 1/2".Special effects are available. The floral boarder, shown here, provides less room for words than any other choice.	A medley of violet, blue, yellow, fuscia and green hues frame a deep violet mix. The botanicals surround an inner message of soft white letters. Your message and the design layout will effect the floral placements. The interior and exterior in relation to the boarder may have different color schemes, for example a solid interior with a colorful exterior (these directions must be stated in the instruction area of the order form).	Festive and colorful describes this piece. Crisp white letters shine upon a wide range of colors. Note the blend of colors showing up as brown tones. Also note, the edges are of a different texture from the center. This shows brush work as a matted edge. Remember, each piece will be unique.

Crisp white letters stand out on this design. A dark batik crackle is distinctly represented here. This traditional element intensifies its presence toward the edges of the fabric. Warm colors including violet, yellow and the brown spectrum are shaded to bring out earthy, fiery colors. Please note upon check out, there is a 10% - 20% charge for batik crackle.	Soft off white letters on a background colored primarily in yellow green, green, teal, and blue hues with small spots of white all over the piece. Heavy vein lines and circles, a drawing of dye pigment and shades of deep blue discribe this EarthSky choice. Each piece will be unique.	In this Earthy and masculine piece, letters are penned in a medium tan upon a background of leathery hues. A heavy batik crackle intrudes upon the words, yet not enough to totally obscure. This is a bit of a rugged piece. Please note that there is a 10% - 20% charge for batik crackle.

Heavy Vein Lines	Brush Work	Batik Crackle
Heavy vein lines can be a dramatic effect. There is a jagged feel as if the lines appear to form mountain peaks. Some vein lines are less peaked and more rounded. The effect shown here is intentional. This line building may compete with a long, many-worded message. The veins can become extremely dark in places and quite light in the surrounding areas. Your lines will look different as each piece is unique.	Brushed matte effect simply adds a boarder on an uneven note completely around the edges. The width of the matte will vary and care is taken not to make it straight. The matte area will be comprised of a deeper shade or of a complementary color. This selection may highlight the thread used for any hem.	Batik crackle lends a traditional look to the silk. The crackle is achieved using a darker hue than the body of the silk. We offer fine, medium and heavy batik crackle. These choices refer to the area covered, not the width of the "spidery" lines. The crackle will vary in length and width and a carry-over onto the letters is to be expected. This effect is labor and supply intensive and carries a 10% - 20% charge at check out.

The colors you receive in your finished art will not match the samples shown here. Please note that some of these colors were mixed prior to "painting" and others were taken from colors which blended on the silk piece.
